Well I do not come through this area often but after eating here I am sure I will make the trip back. Shayna our waitress was AMAZING. I would come back just to see her even if the food wasn't as good as it was. I judge all restaurants in service and this place is impressive. The homemade onion rings are very good and the burger was delicious. They also have a large selection of made from scratch desserts!! Ask for Shayna

Come on, this place can't be real! Chicken fried steaks that won't fit on the plate, bread pudding bigger than your head and all homestyle like your momma made it. Their menu reads like Sunday dinner at grandma's. Meatloaf, dumplings, liver, fried catfish and MORE! And in case you're wondering, it's all delicious.

This is the first time I have ever left a review of any restaurant I have ever been to. I am a truck driver and have eaten in restaurants all over the country. If you are looking for good, home style food - THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!!!!!! I have been on the road for a couple months now, and this was the best meal I have had since I left home. I had the #3 breakfast for dinner. Breakfast meals are traditionally smaller than say a meal from the dinner menu. Mine was so good, and I have a fairly large appetite, that I asked the waitress to bring me a second one. I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed my meal. Thank you for it.

Let's face it, there's not many choices in Orange Grove. So you can't be too picky I suppose. This place is less than stellar in the cleanliness department, and it took quite a while to get served, but the food is tasty. And it appears that they are hand making it, so more stars for that! The chicken fried chicken had a lot of batter on it and not so much chicken, but it was tasty. My hubs got the special, blackened catfish. It had no semblance of blackened seasoning, but it was delicious! I had food envy. The mashed potatoes were good and the green beans were too. The side salad was lackluster. All in all, a good meal. We'll be back.

Great food, good service. All you can eat shrimp night, so the crew was running all night, but they were congenial, obliging and served us as quickly as possible.
